I started out shooting on Seattle Film Works print film, but have since moved on to Kodak Royal Gold, Kodak Supra, and ocassionally Fuji Superia. I have two Minolta SR-T101 cameras which I use for astrophotography.
The cameras are pretty good for astrophotography being all manual with mirror lock up using a battery only for the internal light meter, which is only rarely useful for astrophotography. The only short coming is the relatively dim focus screen.
In January of 2003 I bought a used Hasselblad 500C/M for wide field astrophotography. I have fallen in love with using the camera and especially like the huge 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" inch film size. I have since acquired a Hasselblad 2000FCW for multi-exposures, a Hasselblad 503CW and a Hasselblad SWC/M. I have used both Kodak Ektachrome E200 and Fuji Provia 400F color reversal films with my Hasselblads.
Unless otherwise noted, all images from negative films are scans from prints, and from reversal films are scams from the transparencies with a film scanner.. Many have had histogram and/or contrast/brightness adjustments in Adobe PhotoShop. Scans were made with an old Microtek 300 dpi flatbed scanner using the Microtek driver software on a Macintosh II or Power Macintosh 6100 computer or a Cannon N1220U flatbed scanner using Hamrick Software's VueScan on an iMac G4 or a Power Macintosh G4 computer. I am in the process of rescanning some of my photos using a Minolta Dimáge Scan Elite F-2900 film scanner. The initial results are encouraging, and I'll post the new pictures when they're ready. I also acquired a Minolta Dimáge Scan Multi Pro film scanner for my medium format films and all scans after 2003 are using this scanner.
