Venus transit.

Photo taken with a Carl Zeiss 500mm f/8 Apotessar lens on a Hasselblad 503CW camera mounted on a tripod using Kodak Ektachrome E200 film with an exposure of 1/60 second and at full aperture.Taken on June 8, 2004 at 6:02 AM EDT from New York City with an Orion solar filter on the lens. Due to the clouds and the low altitude of the sun at the time of the exposure, the original image was underexposed, as I didn't compensate enough for the clouds and altitude in my exposure calculations. This image is a crop at the optical resolution limit of my scanner, hence the size of the grain...
